I wanted to thank you for a wonderful overnight! Our room was so comfortable and clean. From the time we checked in until the time we checked out the staff was "the best". Thanks so much for an enjoyable week. Weather a little hot just as it has been in our area, but accommodations were great, all of the staff were very friendly and helpful. Food was good, really enjoyed the breakfast. Sometimes the little touches make a difference, the little loaf of pumpkin bread each day was a treat, as we normally do when we travel, we have a good breakfast, snack at lunch and then have a nice dinner, we would save our bread each day until we stopped at a rest area or quiet spot for a snack lunch and then top it off with the pumpkin bread, what a Treat! My friend and I had an absolutely wonderful time in Brown County. Everything and Everyone were friendly and welcoming at the Artists Colony! We may be returning in Sept. and if so, are hoping to stay with you again! Thanks for the excellent service and hospitality.... it felt like being home! April

We celebrated my sister's birthday there this week and you made the back room available for us for her birthday dinner. We were very pleased with our accommodations at your Inn on our visit to Brown County. We usually stay at the Abe Martin Lodge, but found your location, being right down town, suited us perfectly.. We did not move our car thru the entire stay. We found your staff very friendly and ready to serve - not a grumpy face anywhere. We enjoyed the amount of space in our room and found it very comfortable and homey. On our next visit to Nashville we will most certainly plan on staying with you . Nick and Judy Wolf
My husband and I stayed at the Inn for 2 nights this past weekend to celebrate our 31st Anniversary and we could not have asked for better accomodations. The Inn was clean, quaint and exactly what we were looking for. I think the staff recognized us by the middle of the first day and they treated us like we were family. The food was incredible. My daughter and I visit the Artists` Colony Inn every year and love to stay there. The staff are always on top of their jobs, and are pleasant, helpful, and often funny. The complimentary breakfast is very satisfying, whether you like a hot or cold start to your day, and the dining room is pretty. The rooms are sptless. We enjoy the artwork on the walls, and we especially like that they have hardwood floors and the furniture is of simple design. After a day of our senses being bombarded by all that's available in this small town, we appreciate having a retreat where the eyes and mind can rest. I stayed in your Inn this past weekend with my Mother and Sister-In-Law and we had the most wonderful time! We stayed in rooms 206 and 304 and we enjoyed both rooms. We also loved the food in the Inn's cozy (and convenient) restaurant! The Inn was very clean and everyone was SO nice and helpful. The friendly, laid-back atmosphere and the willingness of the employees to help with whatever was needed just made our trip that much more enjoyable. We absolutely loved it and will be visitng again.
